Abbot Kinney - Venice - Winter '15
The street art on the side of Gjelina has always captured my interest. The unique subjects executed in grey tones draw intrigue, conjuring up deep thoughts of spirituality. This creature is a spirit guide connecting you to your inner strength power and unique beauty.
Abbot Kinney - Venice CA - Winter '15
Another intriguing street art piece on the side of Gjelina by the same artist. The obscure combination of animal and human features evoke a curiosity to explore the artists intentions. The animal skull acts as a mask of ancient perceptions that are perpetuated in our modern world. Hiding the inner beauty while protecting from the brutal judgements from outside.
Hong Kong - Teds Lookout - Feb '16
Hong Kong is one of my favorite places for capturing street art. This gem was found on a late night return to a friends place in a part of town I had never been exposed to before. The image was powerful and personal. The figure seemed to be calling me out in that moment to stop and listen to its message. Im still unclear completely as to what the actual message is however the iconic mannerisms of Uncle Sam combined with the astronaut gear and Chinese characters presents a unique composition. It could be interpreted as China recognizing that the USA claims to putting man on the moon are completely fabricated or I could be totally off base. Regardless the brilliant piece of street art did just what it intended to and caused me to stop contemplate and share with the world.
Main Street - Santa Monica, CA - March '16
The cowboy bandit with anti establishment sentiments can be found frequently throughout Los Angeles in many iterations. This was my first observance of the art piece. Is it rooted in the older generation that began the liberal movement of peace and love or is this a modern day interpretation of the hipster who claims liberal values but fundamentally maintains a contrasting sentiment?
Utilizing the inherent properties of both amazonite & clear quartz stones, this energetic pyramid inspires clear communication in an amplified sense while emanating a protective force field of negative ions restoring the body and mind.
Sheung Wan - Hong Kong, Central - March '16
This piece is an excellent representation of the beautiful contrast between traditional and new in Hong Kong. Two worlds have collided in this vibrant city combining the ancient traditions of the eastern world with the western influence of British rule. All throughout the city you will find new modern architecture being built with the traditional bamboo scaffolding. The contrast of the two materials are amplified by the striking neon paint creating a visual representation of the cities diversity living peacefully in union.
The Path - Taipei
The best way to discover Taipei is through wandering the pathways beyond the main roads. The true essence of the city is just beyond the surface not fully exposed to those who don't seek it out. This pathway in particular was taken in a perspective that invites you forward to continue to discover more of what the city has to offer.

In the middle of Calle Cava Baja I found the most charming little hotel nestled between the traditional Tapa's restaurants of Madrid. In the evening the streets are buzzing with locals and tourists alike; wandering, connecting, sharing stories, meals and drinks. The energy is electric and intoxicating. There is an undeniable sense of love, respect and tradition that emanates throughout the streets of Madrid. This images captures the calm before the exciting vibrant storm.
Thirsty in Taipei
Discovered this little gem as I snaked through the back allies of Taipei behind the hotel. The modern style mixed with traditional elements can be found all throughout the city. This is a perfect representation of the sophisticated modern vibe that is Taipei.
Still heartbroken walking to my favorite lunch spot in Santa Monica I walk right over this cheeky message on the sidewalk "got love?" The answer is YES! Unconditional love in fact. Love is the core of my spirit, it is how I see the world through loving eyes. It only takes a moment of reflection to remember love is what connects us all and where our future lies.
I am still in awe of the incredible layers of color captured in this image. The rocks in the mountains are millions of years old and as you hike around the lake you can feel the whispers of the lifetimes observed. Natures powerful energy undoubtedly will ground your spirit and revive your soul. This image transmits that powerful energy effortlessly.
No words can express how dear this lake is to my heart. As a child our family would visit this lake every summer to connect with nature and our extended family. Countless memories of hiking, biking, boating, fishing, exploring, laughing, dancing, and celebrating are evoked from this image. Returning after 20 years Silver Lake is still just as magical. A place where my spirit was able to reconnect to my youth reminding me to always allow the playful carefree side of me to live free.
